Who We Are

Wellspring Recognizes SISC
for “Leap Of Kindness Day 2024”
Thank you to Maggie Fronk and the staff at Wellspring for recognizing Soroptimist Saratoga as a partner in helping to
end relationship and sexual abuse
in our community.
Who We Are
The word “soroptimist” means “best for women.”
Whether we are supporting women and girls locally through our award programs or facilitating Hope and Power classes at Wellspring, you won’t find a livelier group of women committed to making a real difference.
Our ability to provide life-enriching opportunities for women and girls in Saratoga County draws on the experience of our members, who serve voluntarily as mentors, trainers, and speakers at the programs we provide.
It also draws on the organizational skills of our members who, together, raise the funds needed to support our programs, notably through our popular annual Secret Gardens Tour.
Saratoga Soroptimist welcomes new members who share our mission, enjoy volunteering, and seek the opportunity to be part of something bigger while also making new friends. Our members share a generosity of spirit, a high energy level, and an openness to sharing both time and ideas. We represent a variety of ages, professions, backgrounds and interests.
