Diana grew up in central Indiana. She attended Purdue University where she met her husband the night before classes started her freshman year. After two years at Purdue, she transferred to Indiana University where she graduated with a BS in Business Administration. Diana married her husband, Rich Armstrong, in 1986 and they have three children:
Marcus, 33, married to Sarah, and lives in Boston
Rachel, 31, married to David (grandson, Henry, 3), and lives in Hopewell Junction, NY, and
Natasha, 27 who is adopted from Russia, and lives in Holden, MA.
Professionally, Diana has worked in Retail Management, been an Investment Advisor/CFP, a homeschooling mom, and currently is the owner/operator of Bearhurst Lakeside Cottages in Speculator, NY and an investor in alternative assets.
After living in Indiana, Connecticut, Upstate New York, Corpus Christi and Houston, Texas, and Massachusetts, Rich and Diana decided to settle in Saratoga Springs. They look forward to putting down roots and getting more involved in the community. In her short time as a Soroptimist, she has been a huge asset to the Growth and Development Committee and we’re so glad she joined us!
